Illay Chester

ILLAY is a multi-instrumentalist and singer songwriter from Tel Aviv, based in Berlin. She uses foremost her cello in an extraordinary way, creating rhythms and sounds, utilizing looping and sound technologies, haunting soundscapes and surprising effects. Having grown up in Israel, she forms a mixture of east and west, classical and electronic.
